Keep two OBS/Glideslopes?

My aircraft has a GTN 650 with GI-106A (OBS w/glideslope) and a Garmin SL30 Radio with MD200 (OBS/Glideslope).

Would any of you keep the OBS on the SL30 ? and why?

I would like to remove the instrument to free up panel space.

I think the SL30 is the finest nav ever made, with the ability to display two nav signals simultaneously. But vor navigation is going the way of the Dodo, so, if I understood the question correctly, I would, with a tear in my eye, remove the MD200 if you need the space. Are you keeping the SL30 as a second com? You know that it can still show VOR or LOC navigation without the MD200, using the ‘string of dots’ CDI on the SL30, and setting the OBS digitally on the SL30, so you only lose GS info, which you already have from the GTN.
