I need to countersink holes for #6 and # 8 tinnermans in a new Van's nosewheel wheelpant. Can anyone recommend the countersink(s) I should buy for that?

I use a one hole countersink. I like the flush screw look. I do not remember where I got the countersink. It fits in s drill chuck. There are a lot of ways to skin the cat.

Grinder

I like the screw solution but I use a dremel with a grinding wheel. Spin it up on a coarse grinding wheel and dress the business end to the correct shape. Usually I make the countersink shallow then perfect it with a cutter set to the correct depth.
Reason is fiberglass is hard of steel tools.

Dang, Bob. Why didn't you make that suggestion 20 years ago... could have saved me grief probably 100s of times over the years.

My preference AN507 screws with large diameter Tinnerman washers.
