Can someone explain to me exactly what the difference between these are? I know what the words mean, but can someone make it more clear to me how these differ in the way they work and when you would want one or the other?
Specifically I want to understand the difference between the Landoll Harmonic Dampener (although many call it a balancer) and the Balance Masters "Active Balancer". http://balancemasters.com/ (their website seems to be really slow today...)
I spoke very briefly with the guy from Balance Masters and he specifically said his is NOT a dampener like the Landoll and is an "active balancer".
