Another milestone happened today. My thanks to Harry Manvel for his assistance and shared wisdom.

Looking good, Martin! Obviously an outstanding support crew, as well. Keep the progress reports coming.
Ref. one of your previous postings, any chance you could give us all a PIREP on your Pitts experience with Budd Davisson (down in sunny Scottsdale, I presume)?

If you click on the goatflieg.blogspot.com link below in my signature page, that will take you to the blog. Look on the right, click on December 2018 and there are two entries. One of them is a detailed rundown of the experience. If that doesn't work, let me know... maybe I can find another way to share it here.

Good job Martin! Good job! It took only three years to get here. Keep pressure on!

I've posted a new Blogspot entry. It's another long one chock full of lots of little firewall-forwardy details. Yum Yum. Click on the Blogspot link in my signature below. Here's the teaser photo:

Outstanding Workmanship
Marty:
Your pictures are great, but after having had the privilege of seeing the project up close, i?ve got to tell you that it?s probably the finest workmanship i?ve Ever seen.
You?ve got good momentum going-don?t slow down. You?re going to have a long line of friends awaiting a ride.

Thanks so much Terry. I must admit that I'm surprised every time I hear that. I figure I'm just another hack first time builder that tries to be careful. But I've heard that from quite a few people now; builders, tech counselors and DARS; all of whom I hold in high regard. It's encouraging, to say the least. I appreciate it.

Another blog entry is posted. A short one because, to be honest, not much has happened in the last month. Click the link in my signature. Teaser photo:

Another minor milestone: the top forward skin is riveted on... at least as much as can be done now. Baggage door hinge and firewall rows have to wait until cowling is done. My thanks to Gary Konrad for his assistance bucking rivets. I literally couldn't have done it without you.
