This morning was one of those times when I just needed to escape from the Earth for a few minutes. I love the RV-6.

Loafing along in smooth air as the sun comes up, listening to CCR, looking at the calm waters...

Very nice! Made me think of one of my favorite poems:

nice one arlen. nice music too. heard you had a twister pass thru there earlier in the summer. any problems? we want more. :)

Yeah, three hangars were trashed, one plane completely destroyed, and two planes flipped over here at (X50) Massey Ranch Airpark two weeks ago from the little F1 twister.

My hangar and plane were, thankfully, untouched.
 
The landing

It is very difficult for us in the peanut gallery to grade your landing if you don't include the touch down? :D

Just a little forward stick as it touches and it won't do that. :)

Is Jan Eggenfellner still at Massey. I've been there a couple times, slept in his motor home once.

Well Arlen now I know what I will be doing early one day next week. I like the late evening flights as well but that can be tough around here this time of year.
