Red Flags?

I noticed another thread entitled "How bad is it?", where a newer builder was trying to figure out how to match the elevator horn to the HS-411 bearing.

Someone characterized it as a "red flag" and somewhat of a tricky known issue that is documented on VAF.

I'm just starting my RV-7 empennage and I have to ask if you all know any other fairly common "gotchas" that we could avoid with some forethought.

The school of hard knocks doesn't always have to be in session.

Michael, in an earlier thread, Mel Asbury mentioned that about 50% of the airplanes he inspects, have reversed trim operation.

Remember, for "UP" trim, the trim tab MUST go down for correct operation.

Lots of good info here, well worth the reading.

Reset the time frame in "Display options" to "Beginning" default is only the last month.
