712CR is an RV-8A painted like the Blue Angels. I'm not sure if he is the builder, but the net shows that Charles Rowbotham is the owner.
I'm painting an airplane in the Fat Albert Blue Angels scheme and I'm wondering if the blue on his RV-8 is actually "Blue Angels Blue"?
I love the color of this RV-8 and sometimes in certain light I think the actual Blue Angels blue is lighter than I like.
Anyway, just wondering if Charles is on VAF or if anyone knows him so I can get in touch.
