McMinnville Oregon

The wife and I did a road trip to Vans. Stayed at a great campground by McMinnville across from KMMV called Olde Stone RV park. The bonus is that the Evergreen aviation museum is near too! Took a tour of the Spruce Goose and many other aircraft and space stuff. The treat was Mexican food at the Mazatlan restaurant in town.

Well worth the trip to the area.

That museum is super cool. My wife and I went a few weeks ago. took all day and we did not even get to see the planes outside.

We flew into MMV about 10 years ago on the way back from a GTO show in Portland and that museum is definitely worth doing. Funny thing is, I lived 10 miles from where the Spruce Goose was located in Long Beach but never went. Had to go to Oregon to see it.

McMinnville is a very cool place. We live on Vancouver Island but still found time to visit it twice….very cool little town well preserved from the early 1900’s.
