One wing balance?

Will a -9A sit on the gear (engine hung and plumbed) with one wing (no FG) without tipping over? Doing the math in my head, I think yes, but somebody (everybody flying) must have been there/done that.

Did it one wing at a time with the fuselage setting flat on my construction platform. It does get a little tipsy but will work. If the RV is on the gear it should work even better that setting flat on a platfrom because the gear footprint is wider.

I rigged my wings one at a time ...

... and propped each wing at the tip ever so slightly, just enough to prevent it from going down if I jostled the fuse the wrong way. Never had a problem though.

You can always stick a sawhorse or some other prop under it for stability. Yes, it will sit there without it.
