I have read that it is not possible to take a bad picture of Crater Lake but no picture will do it justice. Here is another picture that does not do it justice. I took this during my weekend commute home from my Northern California project yesterday.

Note: I thought I had it sized correctly but obviously not. Then again it kind of has that panoramic look.

I agree. You really have to be there to really appreciate the beauty of the place, but great picture nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.

For those of us in OR it is one of our favorites!
PS you are supposed to stay 2000 ft above the rim....

Yep, i have never seen a photo that could ever do Crater Lake justice! Nice try though!
