AC on 10 and weight/Balance

Did y'all move the battery to the firewall when installing the AC? It's going to be an Airflow Systems.

While I haven't done my W&B yet on my RV-10, my understanding is that the Airflow Systems AC package shouldn't require moving the battery. The equipment placed in the tail cone is offset by the compressor added to the front of the engine, and the condenser scoop is near the CG. I've talked to several builders with completed RV-10s with the Airflow Systems AC and they still have their battery in the tail cone.

I have Flightline AC but yes moved my battery to the firewall and went with a Shorai. I also have O2 in the back, though. The compressor does help balance things out.

Most 10's are nose heavy, mine included fully loaded out with all sorts of things. I left mine in the usual spot and even did a lithium battery. If I fly solo I have a 30 lb weight in the back.
