When Burning Man rolls around every year, all of the stores in the Reno/Carson area that sell outdoors equipment (Walmart, REI, Cabellas, Shields....) put up signs at their entrances saying “We’re sorry, but there will be NO returns of camping equipment for the next two weeks!” This is prevent what was already happening, which was people flying in for the Burn, buying gear, trashing it in the desert winds, then returning it on their way out of town.....

It’s fun in the desert, but it can get brutal out there (as Axel’s picture shows)!
