I just received my TS Flightlines cabin fuel lines and I was wondering if anybody would be willing to share pics of their install. I've tried doing a forum search and google search and haven't really found much. I'm using the stock fuel valve and the standard fuel pump kit from Van's. Thanks for any help you can offer.

TS fuel lines

I have already installed TS Fuel lines and filters with valves in the wing root area from both Wings and sent in pictures to Tom. I would post them here but, I am technology challenged. If you send me your cell # via Post or Private message, I will TEXT a couple good shots to you. The Idea of having separate fuel filters, one in each wing was very appealing to me as opposed to a single filter on firewall for whole system. If you ask TS Flightlines for the Pics of N16YS maybe they will Post for us. Ed

Andair fuel valve

Well, I thought I had it figured out. Tom at TS Flightlines got back to me right away and sent me a PDF with installation instructions. Apparently you can find them on the Aircraft Specialty website. They recommend removing the connector hose between the filter and pump. Like this:

I still can't get the hose to connect to the stock fuel selector valve fittings, so I ordered the Andair valve from Van's. Does anybody know if the one sold by vans includes the 90 degree elbow fittings to make the connections to the fuel lines? If it doesn't, from where did you order them? The instructions mention an EF20 fitting, which I can't find on the Van's website.

MATT--
the Vans (imperal) valve does have a lower hose connection due to the AN816-6D nipple threaded into the port. So our hose sits in a differnt place--put the straight on the nipple, and the 90* on the filter inlet, and rotate the 90* at angle so it clears the elevator push tube at full deflection.

And if you get the Andair valve get the FS20x7T valve!!!

As a follow up to this...

Click on the RV10 Cabin fuel hoses picture on the bottom. Another page will open up which contains PDF links to the installations for the Fuel lines for the RV10 in a variety of different configurations that we offer.

The top PDF is the "RV-10 Stock AFP cabin fuel hose manual" If you click on that, you will see the PDF install guide for that specific kit.

If a PDF installation guide is available for a particular kit, we locate it on the ordering page for that product. Eventually, we will dedicate a section of the website to just installation manuals, but for now, we have each manual located on the pages with the products.

Happy building!!!!

As another update to this thread, we have made a long overdue update to the RV10 FWF ordering page to accommodate some additional configurations. Some of these configurations are determined based on your Firewall Aft configuration.

Our firewall aft fuel kits for the -10 already support a tunnel filter, or a wing root mounted filter. In addition, you have the option of a firewall forward, or a firewall aft (tunnel) mounted fuel flow transducer. Now, our firewall forward hose ordering page matches the Firewall Aft options. You may have to clear out your cache and reload the website to get it to update.

Otherwise, here is a direct link to the FWF guide that explains the variety of RV-10 FWF options.

Please reach out to Tom or I with any questions
