Spirit of '45 70th Anniversary Celebration
Date: August 15, 2015
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM CDT
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII and
perhaps the last opportunity for families and communities in every
city and town in America to come together to say "Thank you!" to
the men and women of our "greatest generation" and to ensure
that their example of courage, shared sacrifice, can do attitude,
service to others, and national unity will continue to inspire future
generations - especially the youth of our country.
The Aviation Heritage Center of Wisconsin and the Sharon S.
Richardson Community Hospice have partnered to honor this
special anniversary. The public is invited to join us in thanking
our veterans and remembering the sacrifice that they, and the
American people, made during WWII. There will be fly-overs of
T-6s, special speakers, historical posters, music, and very special
WWII Veteran guests.
