MTV-15B/183-402

Hi Everyone,

I bought this MTV-15B/183-402 to put on my RV-8 with an O-360 A1A engine. I have not installed the propeller yet but was wondering from those that have used it do you need an extension on the crankshaft for the correct cowling clearance or can you just install the propeller and spinner, and then start fitting the cowling?

I assume you didn't buy this prop from MT. They want these aluminum props out of service. I would contact MT at Deland to arrange a swap. Don't use the aluminum one.
