Slightly Oblong hole in Wing Spar

Well.. I've managed to put myself in a bit of a spot. While match drilling the W-726 spacers/W-731 Tie-down to the Wing Spar for the AN3 bolt, one of the holes managed to get slightly oblong in the Spar Web. At its widest point its 0.207" across. The hole in the spacer is good as well as the Tie down bar.

Do I build on?? Or go to a plan B?:(

Ask Vans for the record but one size up would probably be fine. Step away from the clif.

So the hole in question just attaches the (top of the) tiedown block to the spar web? I guess I should say "ask Van" but I'm pretty sure they'll tell you you're fine as-is, there shouldn't be much if any load transferred by that fastener during maneuvers. If it attached the spar cap to the web it might be more problematic. If you wanted to oversize it you'd have to go to 1/4"...which would probably be fine, too, assuming you had proper ED on the other parts.

Attachment for aileron bellcrank

Correct. It is the bottom inboard hole (right wing) that is the bolt attachment for the W-823PP bottom aileron bellcrank bracket/Thru spar/Thru W-726 Spacer/Into nutplate on W-731 Tie-Down Bar.

All the other holes are very nice.

Ultimately I will send an email to vans on this one. Just not sure If I should be hyperventilating yet or not.

If I have to go up to and AN4 bolt. The next trick will be figuring out the nut plate that will fit on the spacer.
