C/S Prop Cable Mount

There seem to be 2 routes for the control cable for the prop, over or under.

Under seems to be via the CB-1002H bracket, the other seems to be via either a Showplanes mount, or the VA-153-PC bracket.

Any reports or feedback on either way please :D

We have an IO-540 narrow deck engine with an MT governor.
 
Over the top on my Rocket.
I like the cooler environment away from all radiated exhaust heat found underneath.
Not sure what bracket I have since it came with the project.
 
Under in my 10. Seems tidier and has created no issues here. If you are concerned about heat, what about the throttle and mixture cables.

Over the top with the SP bracket.
No issues to report.
Perhaps marginally easier than underneath as you don’t need to clamp it to many things for separation going over the top and where you do the access is easier.
 
I had to run mine over the top as the A/C compressor mounts under the area where the under mount goes.
