Adding right side toe brakes

Looking for input on: how difficult is it to install right side toe brakes to 2000 year 6A. Considering the purchase of 6A that does not have right side toe brakes. Thanks in advance!

It shouldn?t be that difficult.
Assuming there are already right side pedals, you may have to modify them to accept the additional master cylinders. If you?re lucky, they will bolt right on.
Then just rerun the hoses from the left side to the right side and then to the main reservoir.
Bleed the brakes and you are done.
Probably a little easier said than done but I don?t think it?s that big of a deal, assuming you can bend around enough to get in there.
Good luck.

Aside from the pedals themselves, if the tabs for the master cylinders are not on the weldments, you'll have to add them. Still, not a huge deal. I expect you'll want to remove the pedal assemblies in either case, so having the welding done and getting it re-powder coated shouldn't be a big additional effort. The mods to the right-side pedals and the plumbing are pretty straight-forward, shown in drawings 43a and 49. 43a has the details for the tabs that might need to be added to the weldments as well as the pedal modification you would have to make. If the drawings don't come with the aircraft, you can get them from Vans or possibly someone has them in PDF form.

A lot of the task depends on if you still have the floor-mounted pedals, or have the overhead mounted pedals.
