leading edge lens replacement

Somehow both my lenses ended up with small cracks this winter. Looking at them it appears there are only 6 screws to replace the lens but it does not look like the plastic lenses will fit through the opening. Im just being a little proactive before I start disassembling the light.
Am I missing something?

They will just go slow and easy. It will come out. Might have to slightly squeeze it too...
