Rudder Stiffener Finishing

I've gone through a few build pages, but can't see details on the rudder stiffeners. I've cut them out as instructed. Do I leave the half holes on the edges, or file them to round the corners? It doesn't seem like they would need a relief cut at the corners.

I smoothed them out using my scotchbright wheel..

smooth and round

I cut and polished mine so that the position half holes were smoothed out and rounded all corners and edges. When I was done there was no evidence of the holes. I think this makes the most sense.
