Need W&B Arms for RV-4

Walt

Could someone post Van's numbers for the MLG and Tail wheel arms. Would like to know what the designed numbers are as I've seen some variations here.
Thanks,
Walt

I'd have to work the design numbers off the plans (which are in the shop, where I am not), but on the drawing in the W&B example in what used to pass for a manual they were:

Level WRT cockpit longerons
Datum: 50" ahead of wing LE
MLG: 49.25" aft of datum (or .75" ahead of LE)
TW: 226.75" aft of datum (or 177.5 aft of MLG, 176.75" aft of wing LE)

The example values they gave are within 0.25" of these as well.

RV-4 Weight and Balance Quick Reference data sheet here...
Whoops, forgot they redid the datum after my manual was printed. Add 10 to all my numbers measured wrt the datum:

Datum: 60" ahead of wing LE
MLG: 59.25" aft of datum (or .75" ahead of LE)
TW: 236.75" aft of datum (or 177.5 aft of MLG, 176.75" aft of wing LE)

Yes, my Opman uses the 60" datum. Had to check t make sure, though.
