Hanger dimensions for RV 10 needed

I’m looking for the distance from the trailing edge of the wing to the tip of the spinner to see if an RV10 will fit in my T hanger.

Many thanks for all your help

Mike

The distance from the trailing edge of the wing (flap actually) to the front tip of the nose-cone is 11'5" -- eleven feet, five inches.

Yep, what Ron said. I would add that you need more margin than you might think. My hangar is 14”6’ to the door, and I wouldn’t want it any tighter.

CAD models

If you have got access to AutoCAD, TurboCAD or similar then you can download and use the 3-view CAD models from Vans.

You can draw a CAD scale model of the hangar, workshop etc and place the 'plane' inside and move it around, rotate it and so on. This is handy if you might want to test the fit of multiple planes. Plus you can use the CAD dimensioning tools to measure anything on the plane.
