Brake fluid reservoir

Charles in SC

Is there a better resevoir out there? On my -7 it is a homade looking aluminum pipe tank that a nylon tee screws into. Or maybe I need abetter tee fitting. I can not get it to stop leaking where it screws into the resevoir. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Cheap and effective

I kind of like the little things..but I have done away with the nylon fittings and lines. There is no reason it should leak unless you have a cracked bung or bad fitting. Use a good sealant and put AN fittings/stainless lines on everything in your brake system and forget it.

I bought a brass tee but had to special order (McMaster Carr?) to get the NPT and compression legs in the configuration that I wanted.

Mine leaked down the firewall.. turns out the fitting was installed dry and screwed into the reservoir with no sealant at all. I used permatex #2 on the threads of the fitting and screwed it back in and no more leaks over the last 2 years.
