.. that airlines and the TSA have sapped all the fun out of flying commercially. However, I think the reason the kids act up is because it sucks so bad. Even all the adults are sitting there, pissed off. It's just the kids are the only ones who actually "voice" their opinions (whether solicited or not). I'm grateful we still have another choice (General Aviation), and hope that we don't ever lose it. I look forward to flying plenty of "happy" kids in my RV10, once it's done.

....I think you hit this one right on the head!....
Had to make a quick day trip to vegas on friday. It was hard IFR so i hoped a spirit airline flight for the first time. I got the "big front seat" upgrade and it cost me $120 total (LAX-LAS-LAX). The big front seat is the same as any other first class seat so I was able to get some sleep. They don't give you anything in the way of food drinks etc but for a short flight like that I can't complain.
It's all true..
