paint scheme software?

jadecuir

I'm New Here
I was wondering what software people are using to layout sample paint schemes for their RV's. I'd like to find Photoshop Templates for the various models, or if another program has more templates, try that.

Searched and found several previous posts with good info. The next question would be: How hard is it to print out properly scaled masking templates from the art created?

I just used Adobe Illustrator to copy the RV8 outline on the Vans site. ANd just colored in the outline

I did the same with my dad's Bonanza A36

Heres a pic

Bonanza is done, -8 is still WIP flatwrap is just an idea, I'm trying to make it related to the bonanza scheme.

Does that software give you a list of scheme ideas?
Or does it allow you to make any shape and piece it together?

Nick,
you color the pieces individually (fuselage from the sides, wings in top- and down- view) and the software "projects" it on the airplane. Details near the centerline of the (top) fuselage wouldn't work well, for most schemes that's not an issue though.
