Trio Altitude Hold

I have the square Altitude Hold button that is part of the older Trio A/P system. It appears to be a somewhat older system as I have seen a newer one(not like mine) that has altitude control with a potentiometer dial.

Does anyone know where to get pinouts and a schematic of this older system? I removed the panel and the pins came loose from the connectors. Not sure what goes where.

On the <trioavionics.com> web site I see manuals and pin outs for the EZ vertical control module. Is that what you’re looking for? Otherwise give them a call.

That is the newer version with the LcD button, potentiometer, and variable control that I mentioned I do not have. I emailed them early last week.

FWIW; The potientometer is actually called a "Rotary Encoder Control" which is a separate unit connected to the "Push Button Switch" which you called "Altitude Hold Button" in your post. You can see how to wire them together on page 29 of the "EZ Altitude Control Operation and Installation Manual". You can download the manual at: https://www.trioavionics.com/literature.htm

I have one of the very first EZ Hold units in my airplane so I hope this helps.

Is there a schematic for the "PUSH BUTTON SWITCH"? Since that it all I have. I DO NOT have the "rotary encoder control" and I can't find the schematics for the basic system in the "Literature."

You would have to contact TRIO for that. My question would be why do you need the schematic?

Are you sure it is the Trio and not the Altrak? Is it this one?

This is why this forum is so AWESOME!!! I would have never thought about a different brand altitude hold module.
