6A & 7A main gear mounting structures

A question for all those flying 6a's and 7a's:
My wife is very uncomfortable with her right calf on top of the main gear mounting structure. Has anyone experienced this problem and is there some mod or seat adjustment that might her leg off the mount?

Classic Aero sells a carpeted gear weldment cover as part of their interior package. I was concerned with the weldment as well, but with the cover in place I never notice it.

Move seatback forward as far as it will go?

If she is short, perhaps a booster pad under the lower seat cushion would help?

Thanks for the responses. I'll look into the cover idea. Also, I'll see if we can get her a little farther forward. I can also try the cushion, but I think raising her up will compound the problem, and cause her leg to "hang down" a bit more bringing it even more onto the weldment. I appreciate your ideas, it's important for my first officer to be happy!
