I think this has been discussed before but I could not find the thread. The “D” seal on the forward edge of my canopy came off after 20 flight hours and I now have a very annoying buzz above 135 kts. I am going to replace the seal but want to make sure it remains in place this time. Is there a preferred adhesion promoter that is safe to use with the adhesive on the D seal?
Adhesion promoter would be great, if there is one. But I scuffed and cleaned mine as well as I could, and used spray can glue in that area on the metal part, then the D weather strip. I has not moved in 180+ hours.
Also, I would imagine you know this that the middle section needs to be offset a bit.
