Leading Edge Protection

Could I put vinyl wrap on the leading edges for protection?

From rocks, bugs, Falcon 9 launches.

I put "3M Scotchgard Clear Paint Protection Bulk Film" on my leading edge 10 years ago. No chips, no discoloration, still there going strong. I put it on the wings, tail, wheel pants, and cowl inlet. Works. Not cheap.
I Cut the 12" roll in half for 6" strips for leading edges of the wings. Thinner strips for the rest of the plane. You cant see it unless your looking for it.

Haha.. Come to Texas and fly off of some grass strips. We have grasshoppers that are almost the size of humming birds.. But that shouldn't be a suprise since everything is bigger in Texas!
