RV8 Static Port Location ?

Can anyone supply a link to their photo or description of installation of their static port location on a RV8 ? I have an older set of plans (Circa 2002) that does not seem to have details on the (dual) ports location.. I could bother Vans... But it looks like a location rear of the wings - Mid fuselage seems reasonable .. I have read the posts on offsetting the Tee fitting .. Photo Below.. Many thanks.. AL

You're showing aft of that bulkhead. Proper position is forward of the next bulkhead. Not that much difference. If you are able to work aft of that one, you can probably reach forward of the next one.

Thanks ...

Thanks for the drawing ... And yes., will be able to install per drawing., Love the simplicity of the pop rivet port ! .. Getting closer to taking her to KFZY ..

The pop rivet works just fine, is dirt simple and basically free. For some reason quite a few folks just have to make things more difficult and come up with all kinds of purpose made machined ports that add zero functionality. Some of the "cost effective" methods incorporated into the design are just right!
