Default Dip Stick too short?

See pictures below. Working on my baffles and just installed new 5 scat tube on back of baffle which goes to oil cooler. A few issues I noted.
1) scat hose interferes with oil dip stick tube.
2) dip stick appears to be too short. The top actually sits below the scat tube. I imagine checking and adding oil could leave a mess on the scat tube. It is just an awkward position.

Anyone else seen this? On my -9A dip stick was higher putting it closer to oil door. Thanks

PS. Not sure why my pictures are turned sideways 90*

I have the 5 duct on my flying airplane and there is no issue. The scat tube angles slightly outboard to meet the oil cooler. The location of the oil door on the cowl makes it easy to pull the dipstick.

I have often seen extended tubes and dip sticks on various planes while doing inspections. Call J&J Airparts in Watumka,Al, they may be able to help.

Plus one here, no issues including adding oil.
