RV4 air inlet size

Any one running a 180 hp RV4 with circular (sam james) air inlets?

The kit comes with medium sized inlet rings (4 3/8") but I'm considering the larger ones 5 1/4" for more cooling. My engine is slightly more than 180 hp.

Any data points out there or comments?

As cool as my RV-4 runs, and you're in Canada.... are you sure you have, or will have, a problem?

Considering the inlet as a throttle in a system intended to raise static pressure makes no sense...but obviously folks still do it.

Not a 4, but my Rocket cools "too well" with less than 5" diameter inlets. I routinely fly in 110+ degree OAT and I dyno'd at way over 300 HP. I also have less than 27 inches of cowl exit area.
