Lycoming IO 540 J4a5

I am considering installing a IO 540 J4A5 250 hp Lycoming out of a piper twin with 450 hours on it. . I can't see any reason this wouldn't mount up properly can you?

IO540 J

As long as it is a straight valve and the FI mounted on the sump bottom, don't see why not. Mine is a B4B5 with FI.

I'm wanting to do the same. I found a B4b5 that was upgraded to 250hp from the stock 235hp. Is this just a compression ratio upgrade? Is there anything else I'll need to make this fit the 10?
Tacchi88, isn't this motor carburated? What FI system did you put on it?
Thanks,
Wyatt
