Default FLYLED products

Anyone have experience with “The Works” as landing lights, or should I think about leading edge landing lights? Thx!

Default Flyleds Works

You don't have to listen to me because I sell them, but we've had nothing but positive feedback from our customers on the Flyleds kits.

If you're looking to get the most bang for your buck, the leading edge spotlights are probably the way to go... a Combo Light in each wing plus the Flyleds Original kit totals $9 more than the Works kit and gets you one additional spotlight in each wing (for a total of 8 spot LEDs outputting 1200 lumens each), and the light is a little better placed in the LE since the lights won't be shuttered by the outward face of the wingtip lighting cove.

If you're not keen on putting in the LE lighting cove for one reason or the other, I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Works kit either.

I just assembled mine last night. (I ordered the works kit with the tail light too) Most fun I've had building in a while. The quality of the product and instructions is top-rate. Very thoughtfully laid out and packaged.

I'm looking forward to installing in my wingtips tonight and lighting up the garage like a christmas disco party.

Howdy Ross. I have "The Works" installed in new, unused, uncut RV-7 wing tips I am looking to sell as a package. Includes all pieces that originally came with "The Works" kit as well as the tail strobe. Documentation, new wire harnesses, etc., etc. Email or PM if interested. I have a lot of pictures.

Mine are not flying but they are installed. I gotta say, it was fun. Don't look at any of them or you will be seeing spots for a while!

i don't have the works, but I do have one of the first sets of "flat top" lights that paul sent to the us. (there is a picture of mine on their web site) they are fantastic and paul is great to work with if you have any problems.

Yes! Since Sept 2020 LOVE them. #Xbright I built them myself, very easy and fun. Extremely bright, taxi or taxi/landing light. When Landing or Taxi lights or on and Strobes are off, the Strobes light up at 30% for extra light and side lighting to see the edge of the taxiway. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a 14 build and I will use them again. #FlyLED
