Beringer Retrofit

I’m wondering if anyone has retrofitted the Beringer Brake Kit (mains) on an RV10 and are still using the original Vans kit master brake cylinders. In the Beringer Catalog they say the master cylinders should have a bore of around 1/2inch with a max of 9/16inch. I’ve got Cleveland master cylinders (not Grove) and they are listed with a bore of 5/8inch. That means brake applications might need extra force, but how much that effects brake effectiveness would be good to know if anyone has first hand knowledge. I’m specifically interested for RV10 which run higher weights than the the two seat RVs.

I was talking to Berringer at Sun & Fun this year because I was interested in replacing my wheels and brakes on my 10 with their stuff but not the stuff in the cockpit. He said the whole system had to be replaced. Master cylinders and all.
