Help wiring GMA245 to G430W and Dynon

Hi electronics guys...I'm hoping someone can help me decipher something in the GMA245 Install Manual. For the most part, this has been pretty straight forward, but this diagram and the accompanying note has me stumped. I tried emailing Garmin, but they didn't feel the need to respond.

Anyway, I'm connecting my GMA245 to a G430W as Comm2 and Dynon Skyview Radio as Comm1. There is a junction for the GMA pins 10 and 14 that I do not understand what I'm supposed to join. The diagrams from the two other units don't seem to show a similar joint.

The note says "8. IF THE TRANSCIEVER HAS A SEPARATE RETURN FOR AUDIO IN AND AUDO OUT, CONNECT BOTH TO THE GMA AUDIO LO AT THE GMA."

I don't understand what it means for separate return for audio in and out. These are the connection diagrams for the 430 and Skyview. Does anyone know which lines coming out of the transceiver to the GMA are supposed to be joined for pins 10 and 14?

Thanks, I really appreciate anyone who has the time to help me sort this out.

You want to connect the audio lo and mic lo coming from the 430 p4002 pins 18 and 19 together and connect them to pin 14 on the GMA. That’s what note 8 is saying. Agree it’s not worded particularly well.

GMA Audio Wiring

Here is an example from the GNS 430 Manual. The GNS 430 is on the left, and a GMA 340 is on the right. This diagram illustrates the presence of a separate return for the Mic audio line (pin 18 on the GNS 430), relative to the return for COM audio (pin 19 on the GNS 430). Note 8 in the GMA 245 Installation manual instructs you to tie the mic audio return into the COM audio lo input on the GMA, alongside the COM audio return.
