RV-9A AFS AOA Checkout

I am almost ready to check out my glareshield mounted AFS AOA,
using the pitot/aoa probe.
In the AFS check sheet for the probe, they ask for two numbers.
recommended approach speed...flaps down and
recommended approach speed...flaps up.
Do I just take the clean and dirty stall speeds and multiply each
by 1.30 to get the recommended approach speeds?

Not sure exactly what to use.

Thanks

That sounds like the right way to do it. You will go through a calibration process as well, according to their documentation.

I will be installing their AOA Sport some time this year and doing the same. Plus I will have the Dynon Pitot AOA with which to compare.
