Removing Vacuum Pump

I want to remove the vacuum pump on a Lycoming IO-360 because I'm going all electric. I think I'll need a fresh gasket and a cover over the hole. Would I need to do anything in the accessory case?

No. Just the cover plate and gasket. I made a plate from 1/4" Aluminum.
