Suggest you get a copy of Keith Thomassen's manual for the Cheltons. The factory manual is turgid. The Thomassen manual is out of print, but he can email you a file to print out. Contact Keith at [email protected] .

That is funny there. I never heard the manual called turgid. Now mind you, I am the author of said document....
But I think that is funny.

The Chelton manual is excruciatingly complete, but a little like reading a dictionary in order to learn to speak a language.

If you're talking about the Pilot Guide/Manual, then I'll agree 100% on getting hold of a copy of Keith's offering. I won't take sides here and try not to flame anyone, but I'll agree that the factory manual is definitely a piece of work! :)

For the installation manuals, the factory manuals are serviceable (for the most part).
