cockpit heat baffle stop

I thought I would post this since it has worked well for 750 hrs. cockpit heat baffle stop... a small L shaped piece made from a hose clamp that is attached to the exhaust pipe with a clamp to keep the baffle from sliding downwards. it looks like there are a pair of L shaped pieces.

and yes, I made a mess changing the oil.

That looks like a simple solution to prevent the heat muff from changing position on the exhaust.

Of course, if it wasn't oiled up so much, maybe the heat muff wouldn't slide around as much! :rolleyes:
 
at least I didn't have oil on the top side and could spend my time constructively by polishing the valve push rod guides with micro mesh.
