pn and the faa

I have been diagnosed with idiopathic peripheral
neuropathy. For those who have never heard of this (like me)It effects the nerves that go to the arms and hands and in my case the lower legs and feet causing a number of symptoms including cold feet, a burning sensation and muscle cramping.

The doctors can find no reason for it ( thus the idiopathic part) and there is no cure for it. The only thing they offer is medication in the form of anti depressants that would seem to be disqualifying to the FAA because (1) its a anti depressant and (2) their using it off label.

Does anybody out there have experience with this as pertains to the FAA? I could try to go without medication but I don't know if neuropathy by itself is disqualifying.

Thanks for any help you could offer.
