Need to recognize QT for their customer support. I bought a halo headset nearly 5 years ago and its worked flawlessly until two weeks ago. I was getting intermittent side tones and only mono audio. I wound up ripping the microphone plug off the the cable (I swear on accident even though I was a bit frustrated at the time) seeking to check the integrity of the wire connection to the plug. I called Mr. Phil McCandless who walked me through some quick troubleshooting which included checking things I hadn't previously considered but in the end I knew I'd be sending it back for the plug repair at least.

QT replaced BOTH plug wires and reattached a disconnected right speaker which was causing the mono audio condition within 3 days of receiving it and had the unit shipped back within the week, all at no cost and well outside the warranty period.
