GPS ADS-B Fuse Slot

Several years ago, I installed ADS-B Out in my first-generation RV-12 with Dynon Skyview in accordance with N 16-01-16. Now, full disclosure here, since the install, I haven't flown anywhere that required ADS-B Out. For this reason and several others, I've never proven to myself that the ADS-B Out is actually working.

So here's my question: With ADS-B Out installed, should the far right-hand fuse slot labeled "GPS ADS-B" in AV-50001 Power & Switch Model remain empty? Nothing in N 16-01-16 mentions this slot, nor a fuse.

My slot has a 2 amp fuse that matches the Trim motor fuse.

My assumption is that this fuse goes to the ADSB-IN box and that the transponder handles ADSB-OUT.

I would try to use flightaware.com to validate your ADSB out operation.
