Houston/Gulf Coast RV Friendly IFR DPE

I am working on my instrument ticket and will likely be ready for my check ride soon after the holidays. My instructor started checking around and did not have much luck with finding someone that would do it in my RV-6. Any recommendations? I don't mind traveling if needed. I could go rent a C172, but rather not.
