KNL89B with AFS-4500?

I have an oppty to buy a KLN89B to help get me a step closer to an IFR panel. I currently have a AFS-4500 and trutrak Autopilot. Does anyone else already have this setup? Will the KLN89B be able to drive the AFS for approaches? Were there any issues that anyone has seen?

Can't speak to the AFS, but I successfully connected my KLN-90B to my Dynon D-100 via ARINC. The KLN uses the ARINC standard messages, so if your unit has an ARINC interface, I suspect it would work. I also connected my 90B to my 396 via RS-232. It shows my flight plan and waypoints on the 396 moving map.
