Trunk covering material.

I recently saw someone use the thin carpet normally applied in a car trunk for their aircraft interior. Seemed to work well. Any ideas where one can find such material?

Northern Tool has it too. Or used to, I couldn't find it on their site.

Only it is an "oil dry" mat. Same stuff, works great.

beware the coco mat!

Randy,
I bought floor mats for my car, advertised as ' coco mats'...the material was a tight, plush woven fuzz, really looked good.
....after using for a while, I noticed that the dang stuff trapped every little piece of sand and dirt! ...and it migrated to the bottom of the pile, so it was nigh impossible to vacuum out, shake loose, etc.
Not sure this is the case with all, just a warning.

FWIW, I bought a big BBQ mat at WalMart for $10, which was like naughehyde on one side, and a thin fuzz loops on the other.
I fit it to my glareshield for a nice matte non-reflective look, and as a bonus, any velcro stuff, like my SPOT will adhere to it nicely. After a while, if you use the same location, the fuzz starts to lift, so I'll replace it in a year or 2.
