Default E-921 Gusset Drilling

Does anyone remember how they drilled the E-921 gussets on page 09-08 of the plants. If I try to drill from the inside into the forward spar, the other cleco holding the gussett is in the way, even with an angle drill. If I try to drill from the spar side, the root rib is in the way due to the angle.

I guess that I could just drill the spar holes without it being assembled.

Thoughts?

I donít recall having any issues with those. Did you try putting clecoes in from opposite side youíre drilling from? Did you try removing the 1008 rib while you drill? I do remember that the 907 rear spar flanges had to be tapered/filed down where they meet the root and tip ribs.
