Watch out for the Pin connections for the power / RS232 connector. I noticed a difference between the Vans Pin connection in their instructions versus the ACK pin out drawing in there manual. I just got info back from Vans and their plans are wrong. Use the Pin out from the ACK ELT install manual.

Default ELT connection

Has anyone found a better way of connecting the ELT Din pin to the Vans supplied harness other than using the molex pins. If it works I guess it ok, but it just seems there should be a better way of making this connection?

I used high density D-Sub female connectors - they fit the pins pretty well and worked better for me than the micro molex ones.

Not recommending you do the same but worked better for me.
