It was time to assemble the rollover hoop and I wanted to make it the same color as the interior (Boeing Tan) but did not want to paint it after assembly because I would rather the rivets showed for the hoop and associated hardware. So, wash primed (Sherwin Williams) everything Saturday morning that wasn't already rattle can primed, urethane primed after requisite min 2 hours at 65F, then painted tan after requisite 6 hours. I wanted a matt/satin finish and Sherwin W didn't have a formula, so I experimented and found that 1.8 grams of the powder they supplied per oz of admixed liquid did the trick. It turned out nice. BTW, that powder they supply is really sensitive: 1.7 grams per oz is nearly gloss and 1.9 grams is flat.
