Guys, If you are having your fuel caps engraved, remember that you need "Minimum Octane" and "Capacity". LEAD CONTENT IS NOT REQUIRED.
If you put "100LL" on your caps and 100LL goes away, what will you do?

If and when...

If and when no-lead drop-in or drop -in -enough fuel becomes available, my plan is to buy new caps, gladly. I thought about it when I had mine done four years ago, and really, the savings in plugs and oil will easily make up for new caps once the lead is gone. And since new engraved caps run about 0.2 aviation spending units or less than a months hanger rent, it will be noise in the overall math. The alternate will be the ?or equivalent? add-on sticker I suspect we?ll see on every spam can fuel fill when no-lead drop-in-enough finally happens.
